ActuTalk - Child Safety Policy

1. Our Commitment to Child Safety
ActuTalk is committed to providing a safe environment for all users, including minors. We have zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
2. Age Restrictions
ActuTalk is designed for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from persons under 18 years of age.
- Users must confirm they are 18+ during registration
- We verify age through date of birth validation
- Accounts found to belong to minors will be immediately terminated
3. Content Moderation
We employ multiple layers of protection to prevent harmful content:
- Automated Filtering: AI-powered content filtering system that detects and blocks inappropriate content
- Message Filtering: Real-time message scanning for prohibited words and phrases
- Image Moderation: All uploaded images are scanned for inappropriate content
- Human Review: Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours
4. User Reporting System
Users can report concerning content or behavior through:
- In-App Reporting: Report button available on all user profiles, posts, and messages
- Report Categories: Inappropriate content, harassment, underage user, CSAM, other safety concerns
- Anonymous Reporting: Users can report anonymously without fear of retaliation
- 24/7 Availability: Reporting system is available at all times
5. CSAM Prevention and Response
ActuTalk takes the following measures to prevent and respond to CSAM:
- Proactive Detection: Automated systems scan for known CSAM using industry-standard hash databases
- Immediate Action: Suspected CSAM is immediately removed and accounts are suspended
- Law Enforcement Cooperation: We report all CSAM incidents to:
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) - USA
- Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) - UK
- Local law enforcement authorities in relevant jurisdictions
- Evidence Preservation: We preserve evidence for law enforcement investigations
6. User Safety Features
- Blocking: Users can block other users to prevent all communication
- Privacy Controls: Users can control who can contact them and view their profile
- Message Deletion: Users can delete messages and report inappropriate content
- Account Suspension: Violators are immediately suspended pending investigation
7. Staff Training
Our moderation team receives regular training on:
- Identifying CSAM and grooming behavior
- Proper reporting procedures
- Trauma-informed response practices
- Legal compliance and evidence handling
8. Compliance with Laws
ActuTalk complies with all applicable laws regarding child safety, including:
- Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) - USA
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - EU
- UK Online Safety Act
- Local and national child protection laws in all operating jurisdictions
9. Transparency Reporting
We are committed to transparency and will:
- Publish annual transparency reports on safety incidents
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
- Continuously improve our safety measures based on emerging threats

- Any content or behavior that endangers children
Violations result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.
